| Our client, a top branding and strategy agency is looking for a senior mac op / traffic manager to join their studio. The client list is impressive with some very well known brands and the work is of the best quality. It will be a varied role and you would be working in close contact with the senior creatives and strategists. The role involves two broad areas of responsibility: Mac Operator and Studio Workflow. In this role you will be implementing projects under the guidance of the senior creatives. You will be required to interpret project requirements, and execute all artworking aspects required within the design process. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management, in a support capacity with senior creatives, of full-time designers, mac operators and any contract staff. The ideal candidate will need a thorough working knowledge of Mac OSX and advanced knowledge of CS3 applications - particularly Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. You will also need a working knowledge of Apple Keynote, MS PowerPoint and MS Word software. You will be responsible for the archiving process and the integrity of archival storage in consultation with an external supplier. Ideally, you would have some previous IT knowledge as you will be responsible for managing the I.T. maintenance of studio equipment in consultation with an external I.T. supplier. This position would be ideal for a senior mac operator who is looking to take a step up the ladder towards studio management.
